I’m Sharon Castle, a transformational life coach deeply inspired by the Three Principles understanding originated by Sydney Banks. My journey has taken me from a life filled with external quests for success and recognition to one where silence and inner wisdom guide my every step.


The Catalyst for Change

My life before discovering the Three Principles was a typical rat race scenario. Despite decades in the personal development industry, I felt continuously overwhelmed and stressed. I was always chasing bigger and better things, believing that external achievements could bring internal satisfaction but all this did was leave me feeling more depleted and desperate for answers.

The turning point came about in 2015 when I stumbled upon the profound simplicity of the Three Principles. The insight that “we are not broken” resonated deeply with me. It shifted my entire perspective from seeking external solutions to exploring the vast wisdom that lies within.


Transformation Through Insight

The realisation that I am fundamentally whole and that I possess innate wisdom transformed not only my personal life but also how I coach others. I began to see stress and struggle as signals to return to my inner self, to the peace beneath the noisy surface of life. This shift allowed me to operate from a place of calm and clarity.

My practice as a life coach changed dramatically. Instead of relying on countless tools and techniques, I now emphasise the power of deep listening and the importance of recognising our built-in resilience and innate mental health.


Spreading the Wisdom

Driven by a desire to spread this message and a bizarre experience on the beach where a brown-hooded kingfisher landed on my shoulder, I got the calling to do something radical so I founded a coaching academy in South Africa, Mindfit Life Coaching Academy. Our goal is to cultivate a community of transformational coaches who are grounded in these life-changing principles. Since that time I have certified 26 life coaches who are now spreading this understanding in their communities, helping others find their path to mental and emotional well-being.

A year later, I co-founded a non-profit organisation, Wings of Hope, to bring the Three Principles to surrounding communities, where psychological support is often scarce. Through workshops and training sessions, we introduce these simple yet powerful principles to educators, social workers, and even law enforcement personnel, watching the ripple effects transform lives.


The Future of Mental Health

I am incredibly optimistic about the future of mental health. As more people discover the Three Principles, we see shifts from overly complicated therapeutic techniques to approaches that recognise the whole and healthy nature of the human spirit. This understanding fosters true resilience, allowing individuals and communities to thrive despite adversity.
